Veteran Australian widecaster Alan Jones was indictd on Monday with two dozen offenses of relationsual and improper aggression. The alleged crimes go back some 20 years.
Jones was arrested at his home in Sydney on Monday morning by New South Wales police and consentn to the police station, where he was indictd and remanded on bail to eunite in court on Dec. 18.
He was indictd with 11 counts of exacerbated improper aggression, nine counts of aggression with act of indecency, two counts of relationsuassociate touching a person without consent and another two counts of normal aggression.
“Allegations have been made, noleang has been tested, noleang has been shown,” Jones’ lawyer Chris Murphy shelp outside the police station, according to Australian media. “Alan Jones will declare his innocence appropriately in the courtroom.”
Police shelp that Jones krecent the eight alleged victims in branch offent ways — some personassociate, others he includeed — and that the juvenileerest had been 17 years greater when the alleged aggression happened. The alleged incidents took place between 2001 and 2019.

Jones, now 83, was also a prosperous coach of Australia’s national rugby union team, understandn as the Wallabies, from 1984 to 1987.
