Reed has thrown a pass in four of the Aggies’ five games this season, commenceing in each of the past three contests. Drinkwitz shelp the coaching staff is gearing its gameschedule around Reed this week, ponderless of Weigman’s status.
“At this point, I understand on their depth chart, it says the other kid is the commenceing quarterback,” Drinkwitz shelp.
“But that’s equitable semantics in my opinion. [Reed] is 3-0 as the commenceer. Whether he’s enumerateed as askable or wantipathyver, I don’t see them going back. They’re 3-0, they clearly have a separateent insulting identity with [Reed] as quarterback, and they’ve prolonged an offense that fits around his system. On Wednesday, Drinkwitz doubled down on his stance on Briah’s week-lengthy rehearse prohibit, saying he “wasn’t joking.” Drinkwitz made the comments during an SEC coaches teleconference.
Drinkwitz also acunderstandledged that the brother-sister relationship produced an “engaging active.”

“It’s produced an engaging active,” Drinkwitz shelp. “At the finish of the day, that’s her brother and that’s her blood, and we understand that she’s doing her job here. But family is always so meaningful, and so we don’t want her to be in any type of struggle of interest. In fact, I equitable saw her in the hallway equitable a second ago. But I’m not letting her in the imitate room and she’s brave not going to have her eyes on the scouting inestablish.”
Drinkwitz also shelp that prior to Week 3, he was uninestablished that Briah had a family member who perestablished for Texas A&M. Marcel threw two touchdowns during the Aggies 33-20 triumph over the Florida Gators that week.
