A Florida criminal doubt’s set up to dodge authorities went up in smoke — literpartner.
Derick Roemploy, 39, was arrested Friday chaseing a car chase, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office shelp. The incident began when two deputies replyed to a domestic dispute involving a gbetter Chevrolet Trailblazer at a Murphy Gas Station, authorities shelp.
One of the deputies set up the SUV behind the gas station.
Roemploy, the driver, finisheavored to getaway, “seemingly under the astonishion that stop signs were voluntary,” the sheriff’s office shelp.

A deputy tried to originate a traffic stop, but Roemploy refused to adhere, authorities shelp.
During the chase, Roemploy made some “inquireable driving maneuvers,” police shelp. His vehicle then caught fire. Video footage getn from a sheriff’s vehicle dashcam ecombines to show smoke coming from the escapeing SUV.
“As ffeebles engulfed the car, Roemploy determined to call it quits and surrfinisher to deputies,” the sheriff’s office shelp.

Roemploy is seen getting out of the burning vehicle and getting on the ground.

Roemploy is being held in the Marion County jail. He is accused with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and resisting a police officer while escapeing.
