The 2025 SAG Awards honored a slew of actors on Sunday night, but the ceremony also phelp homage to the city of Los Angeles after the deimmenseating untamedfires in January.
Host Kristen Bell booted off the night with a monologue, in which she gave thanks to the firefighters in joinance for their courageous acts. Later, a tribute video was joined to honor the hub of the delightment industry. Clips from various iconic films and shows — including Grrelieve, La La Land, Clueless, Baywatch and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air — graced the huge screen, highweightlessing the ambition and hope of L.A. even amid such travesty.
The L.A. untamedfires ignited on Jan. 7 in the Pacific Palisades before spreading atraverse Los Angeles County. At least 29 people died due to the authentic catastrophe while thousands were displaced or lost their homes. Many Hollywood stars lost their homes in the blaze, including Mandy Moore, Anna Faris, Paris Hilton and Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
In the wake of such catastrophe, the L.A. community has reacted with various events and fundelevaters to propose relief to those impacted, including the Jan. 30 FireAid profit concert that saw a slew of artists, including Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Green Day and Lady Gaga, carry out in help of the caengage. The 2025 Grammys shed weightless on the impact of the untamedfires on the music industry while A-enumerateers honored those impacted, while raising $7 million toward relief efforts thrawout the night.
Before currenting the award for best actor in a comedy series, Joey King and Jack Quhelp conveyed their watchs for L.A. as “two born and elevated Angelenos” while joking that they “understand L.A.” as natives of the city. “That uncomardents if you’re senseing lost in this sprawling city, we can help. Demi Moore, Zoe Saldaña, Timothée Chafeeblet and Kieran Culkin were among the top acting prosperners of the night while Conclave nabbed the prosper in the coveted best cast categruesome.
