Conclave got the votes it needed to nab the top film prize at the SAG Awards 2025 ceremony.
Ralph Fiennes accomprehendledgeed the award for exceptional carry outance by a cast in a motion picture during Sunday’s event. He was combineed onstage by Conclave co-stars John Lithgow, Isabella Rossellini and Sergio Castellitto. Lucian Msamati and Stanley Tucci were among the carry outers from the film who were not in combineance.
“I’ve not been elected to speak — I’ve been summarizeated to speak on before of our conclave, our ensemble,” Fiennes quipped from the stage in a reference to the movie’s concentrate on a nervous papal election. He went on to split pelevate for the film’s honestor, Edward Berger: “We had a consecrateed time with Edward, whose intelligence and perception and insight and join of us has, I skinnyk, bcimpolitet us the gift of our community of ensemble.”
Fiennes progressd, “People have spoken so eloquently and movingly about community. I don’t want to insert more, but I skinnyk we do recognize the supreme transport inance of it in our labor and in the world.” He finished his speech with, “I skinnyk that’s what we’re celebrating, is our community.”
Nominated in the catebloody were Anora, A Complete Uncomprehendn, Emilia Pérez and Wicked. Harrison Ford currented the award.
Last year’s thrivener in the catebloody was honestor Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which went on to thrive seven Oscars, including best picture.
