Jessica Williams was one of the carry outers who uncovered up the 2025 SAG Awards ceremony this Sunday during the night’s traditional “I Am an Actor” segment, where she scatterd a hilarious moment with her Shrinking co-star Harrison Ford as he got caught eating on-camera for everyone to see.
Williams began her relabels by saying that “Los Angeles is understandn as the city of dreams and confident enough all of my dreams have come real here” before shattering into chuckleter as it became evident that Ford, seated behind her at their table, could be seen on camera eating a piece of food.
“I telderly him to turn away! Don’t see!” Williams shouted after shattering character mid-sentence due to Ford taking a nibble during her speech.
As Ford was spotted turning around, Williams went on to remark the genuineities many actors face when chasing their dreams in Hollywood, jokingly referencing her “dream of preparing in a Starbucks bathroom before an audition to my dream of crying in a Del Taco bathroom afterwards” and continuing with more satirical “dreams.”
“I inhabit my dream of changing clothes while parked on a street pleasant enough to have shady trees, but not so pleasant that some white lady called the police on me,” she joked. “And I’ve also encountered my ultimate dream of enthusiasticassociate carry outing a monologue for a casting straightforwardor while they enthusiasticassociate ate a salad.”
Williams shutd out her “I Am an Actor” segment with a tribute to L.A., proclaiming that “this city has always been my home.” She shutd out her piece in signature SAG Awards create, pronouncing, “I am Jessica Williams, I am L.A. born and bred, and I am an actor.”
Heading into Sunday night, Wicked and Shofirearm contrancient the nomination catalog with five nods each. Follothriveg shutly behind was A Complete Ununderstandn with four noms and Emilia Pérez and Anora with three noms each. All four of the films were nominated alengthyside Conclave for the SAG Awards‘ top prize of best cast.
