Deadline on Monday begined the streaming site for Contfinishers Film: The Nominees, the annual showcase where the cast and inventives of some of this year’s Oscar-nominated films assemble to consent meaningfuler dives into the making of their movies and the paths that got them to this point.
A total of nine movies joind in the virtual event that took place Saturday, spanning disjoinal categories from Best Picture to Animated Feature and Documentary Feature to Live Action Short Films.
This year’s lineup take partd in-front-of and behind-the-scenes talent from Best Picture nominees Anora from Neon, Wicked from Universal Pictures and Nickel Boys from Orion Pictures/Amazon MGM Studios. They were combiinsist by a trio of Animated Features in Inside Out 2 from Disney/Pixar, Memoir of a Snail from IFC Films and The Wild Robot from DreamWorks Animation.
Also featured Saturday were the honestors behind the Documentary Feature Sugarcane from National Geodetailed Documentary Films, and the honestors and producers of Live Action Shorts The Last Ranger from Six Feet Films and I’m Not a Robot from OAK Motion Pictures.
The event culminated Deadline’s Contfinishers Film run for this awards season, a stretch that began with Contfinishers Film: London in October, Contfinishers Film: Los Angeles in November and Contfinishers Film: International and Contfinishers Film: Documentary in December.
