A recently surfaced video shows a New York City teachers’ union reconshort-termative providing teachions on how to help migrant families dodge Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
A reconshort-termative for the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) can be heard coaching educators on how to help illegitimate immigrants dodge ICE at home and in accessible, in a Zoom session liberated by the New York Post.
“If ICE comes to the home, you do not have to uncover the door,” the reconshort-termative can be heard saying in the video.

“In fact, you should not uncover the door,” the reconshort-termative progressd. “If you uncover the door but exit the chain on, that could be clear uped as permiting ICE in, so you should uphold the door shutd and remain quiet.”
For individuals who do not speak English, the UFT reconshort-termative alludeed “red cards,” which can be printed for free and are uncomferventt to be slipped under the door when an ICE agent comes to the home.
“I do not want to speak to you. I do not concur to permit you into my hoinclude,” the “red cards” read in English on one side and in the dwellnts’ language on the other.

The UFT reconshort-termative shelp some schools in New York City are distributing “red cards,” while others are not “sootheable” doing so.

Adams’ office did not promptly reply for comment.
