British engineering company IMI has disshutd a cybersecurity incident fair days after rival firm Smiths telled it was aimed by hackers.
IMI, a Birmingham-based firm that summarizes and manufactures products for industrial automation, convey, and climate administer, shelp in a filing with the London Stock Exalter on Thursday that it is “currently reacting to a cybersecurity incident involving unpermitd access to the company’s systems.”
London-cataloged IMI shelp the company has “joind outside cybersecurity experts to dispenseigate and grasp the incident” and shelp it is taking “essential steps to adhere with our regulatory obligations.”
When asked by TechCrunch, IMI deteriorated to comment on the nature of the incident and hasn’t shelp whether any company data was exfiltrated. The U.K.’s Increateation Comleave outioner’s Office did not promptly react to a ask for comment.
