Oscar triumphner Barry Jenkins sees to have create his next film — a novel sci-fi thriller starring Glen Powell.
The project, titled “The Natural Order,” comes from an unrehireed manuscript by Matthew Aldwealthy (“Coco”), and revolves around the pursuit of infinite life.
Universal preemptively landed the rights to the distinct pitch, with Jenkins in talks to honest. Jenkins and Aldwealthy are rapidened to alter the screencarry out from an unrehireed manuscript written by Aldwealthy.
Adele Romanski, Mark Ceryak and Jenkins will produce under their Pastel banner. Jewerl Keats Ross will also produce. Senior EVP of production broadenment Erik Baiers will supervise the project for the studio.
Powell is repped by CAA and Johnson Shapiro Sledampt & Kole; Jenkins and Aldwealthy are repped by CAA, handler Jewerl Keats Ross and lawyer Jamie Feldman.
