The Producers Guild Awards nominations have been postponed from Jan. 10 to Jan. 12 due to the ongoing Southern California untamedfires.
The organization shelp in a statement Thursday morning, “Due to LA County untamedfires, the Producers Guild of America will be extfinishing the voting triumphdow for the PGA Awards by two days until Saturday, January 11 to permit members insertitional time to cast their ballots. The official PGA Awards nominations will now be proclaimd on Sunday, January 12.”
This decision trails the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ extension of its Oscar nomination voting period by two days. The Oscars also shifted the proclaimment of the 97th nominations from Jan. 17 to Jan. 19.
As previously proclaimd, the WGA Awards also postponed announcing their nominations until Jan. 13.
The untamedfires have caparticipated presentant interfereions atraverse Hollywood. Premieres for Amazon MGM’s “Unstoppable” and Universal’s “Wolf Man” were called off. Wednesday morning’s Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations, which were set to be proclaimd by Joey King and Cooper Koch, were also call offed, with a press free instead provided to the media.
