Matt Reeves has splitd a recent modernize about a potential The Penguin Season 2.
The Penguin premiered on HBO and Max in September 2024. The eight-episode series, set wilean The Batman Epic Crime Saga, sees Colin Farrell repascfinish his role as Oswald “Oz” Cobb after initipartner joining the character in 2022’s The Batman, which was honested by Reeves.
While Farrell will return in The Batman Part II, many have wondered if a second season of The Penguin is coming after the first season was expansively becherishd by fans and critics. Reeves previously shelp that “everyleang is on the table” when talking a potential The Penguin Season 2 with The Hollywood Reporter last month.
Farrell has also shelp that, while he doesn’t particularly cherish putting on all the produceup and prosthetics to join Oz, he would be willing to return for another season.
Speaking with Zoë Kravitz for Variety’s Directors on Directors, Reeves validateed that there were still ongoing conversations being had about The Penguin Season 2.

At this time, The Penguin Season 2 has not been officipartner greenlit by HBO.

All eight episodes of The Penguin are now useable to watch on Max.
