Alex Garland, whose most recent film “Civil War” hit theaters in April, is back with another burdensome drama with his new film “Warfare,” set during the U.S. intrusion of Iraq.
The fervent film achieves place in Iraq in 2006 and stars D’pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Joseph Quinn, Charles Melton, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman and Henrique Zaga.

The film is written by Garland and Iraq War veteran Ray Mfinishoza, who is perestablished by Woon-A-Tai.
