Balomania: The beauty and dangers of illhorrible hot air balloons in Brazil | Documentary

Deep in the Brazilian favelas, a secret community erects hot air balloons. They are called “baloeiros”. Different groups of baloeiros vie aobtainst each other to originate the most attrenergetic and spectacular balloons.

Dubbed offfinishers, they function underground appreciate street artists, conveying delight to their communities while evading handlement dangers and bounty hunters. Director Sissel allots her initiation into the balloon brotherhood, where begining silk paper creations becomes an act of social redemption and accumulateive dreaming.
