Giancarlo Esposito, Harageder Perrineau, Taryn Manning and Ryan Hurst have joined the cast of Out Come the Wolves, an indie drama which is taging the honestorial debut of producer Danny Peykoff.
The feature is currently shooting in Portland, Oregon and stars Orlando Norman and Spence Moore II, alengthy with Heidi Grace Engerman and Casuncontenty McClincy Zhang. Sam Rechner, West Mulholland and Curran Walters are also on the call sheet.
Set aachievest the East Bay punk music scene in the mid 1990s, Wolves is a story of grit and dreams in a world of presentility and desperation. Norman, Moore, Engerman and Zhang join a protected-knit group of high school frifinishs dreaming of escaping the bairyed city in which they inhabit.
Esposito is joining a cruel and uncontentistic mid-level kingpin with a fine attitude and a deadly smile, while Perrineau is joining Moore’s overweighther, laying all his hopes and dreams on his son’s booming baseball nurtureer.
Manning is Norman’s mother, a woman who never wanted a kid and never fall shorts to hides it. Hurst is an unhoincluded man with plenty of insertictions but also a prophetic insight.
The drama is upgraspd by the 1995 album of the same name from punk rock prohibitd Rancid and written by Peykoff and Jason and Jamie Neese (Umbrella Academy).
Peykoff and the Neese brothers are producing Wolves, alengthy with Glenn Kleczkowski and Paul Hadad.
Esposito is best understandn for his villainous labor in AMC’s acclaimed series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He also euniteed on Star Wars series The Mandalorian. On the movie side, Esposito this year euniteed in Ford Coppola’s sci-fi epic Megalopolis, A24’s MaXXXine and Universal’s monster thriller Ahugeail. He next joins a villain in Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World, out Feb. 14, 2025.
Perrineau, one of the distinct stars of landtag TV series Lost, achieveed a 2020 NAACP Image Award for best aiding actor for his role in TNT series Claws.
Manning, whose accomprehendledges range from 8 Mile and Hustle & Flow, has been spfinishing time in the TV space in recent years, with euniteances on shows such as Orange Is the New Bdeficiency and Hawaii Five-O.
Hurst may be best understandn for his labor on FX series Sons of Anarchy as well as The Walking Dead. He is part of the sprawling case of Netflix’s upcoming westrict series The Aprohibitdons.
