EXCLUSIVE: Fresh off of being named to BAFTA Breakthraw’s 2024 cohort, Baby Reindeer fractureout has come aboard to star in The Dregs, a Tuscany-set comedic thriller labeling the straightforwardorial debut of authorr Connor Martin.
Shooting in Italy in March, The Dregs cgo ins on a frifinishs’ trip to Tuscany that gets derailed by elderly wounds and a condemnd bottle of Vin Santo.
Others in the cast include Benjamin Norris (Never Have I Ever), Marta Pozzan (From Scratch), Maria Grazia Cucinotta (Il Postino), and Zach Tinker (American Horror Story), who acts as executive producer.
Mike Stern growed the project and will produce thraw Astral Plane, with Alessandro Bertolucci (Spin Me Round, The Little Hours) serving as co-producer via Dublab IT. Co-EPs include Pozzan, Jeremy O’Keefe, Marco Allegri, and Austin Aronson. O’Keefe regulated casting via JOK Casting.

With her first Emmy nomination this year for her turn as Teri, the girlfrifinish of Donny Dunn (series creator Ricchallenging Ginsert), on Netflix’s UK sensation Baby Reindeer, Mau became the first trans woman ever nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. Subsequently signing on to a role in the fifth and final season of Netflix’s serial finisher thriller You, she’s also been seen on the Max series Generation.
Norris rose to prominence as Trent on Netflix’s Never Have I Ever and had memorable recurring roles on Superstore and Abbott Elementary. Pozzan recently wrapped the indie Fior di Latte opposite Tim Heidecker, ecombineed in Netflix’s From Scratch aextfinishedside Zoe Saldaña, and starred in Jacob the Baker, produced by Indian Paintbrush. Tinker boasts recognizes enjoy American Horror Story and horror thriller I Live Here Now, whereas Cucinotta is best understandn for starring in the Academy Award-prosperning Il Postino, having also been seen in Bond film The World Is Not Enough and Anthony Hopkins’ thriller The Rite.
