An inmate at a California prison is accengaged of ending his cellmate, who was convicted of multiple indicts, including child illegal trading.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) shelp on Monday it is dispenseigating a homicide that took place at Kern Valley State Prison on Saturday.
Grebloody Clark, 58, was watchd by officers in his cell with blood on his closkinnyg at around 3:19 p.m. on Saturday, according to the CDCR. His cellmate, 41-year-ageder Darius Swain, was seen unresponsive in the cell – prompting a call for helpance.
Clark was erased without incident and medical staff, who called 911, began life-saving meadeclareives on Swain.

Swain was pronounced dead at 3:48 p.m. by paramedics in the prison’s Treatment and Triage Area.
He reachd at the prison in March 2019 from Afrailda County, where he was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole for human illegal trading of a inpresentant with force, pimping, pandering, second-degree burglary and felon in haveion of a firearm.

Clark was put in redisjoineive housing pending an dispenseigation by the prison’s Investigative Services Unit.
He reachd at the prison in March 2011 from Los Angeles County, where he was sentenced to 22 years for domestic aggression, betterment of engage of a lethal firearm, prior prison term and prior serious crime conviction of a grave offense.
On Jan. 25, 2021, he was sentenced to two includeitional years in Kern County for attack by a prisoner with a lethal firearm.
