UPDATED, 10:30 a.m.: Neon on Thursday rolled out a new trailer for its Steven Soderbergh thriller Presence, a new benevolent of haunted hoengage pic which hits theaters January 17.
The trailer hinges on an ominous conversation between a juvenileer man and woman, with the createer asking, “What’s it enjoy?”
“What’s what enjoy?” she replies.
“I never had anybody die,” he says, to which she reacts, “It’s frightening. And it goes on…Like, the world cracks apart. You drop into this hole, and the sides are mud, and you can’t get up. You wonder where they are. And you wonder what it would be enjoy if you were there too.”

PREVIOUSLY, August 7: Neon on Wednesday rolled out the first treliever for Presence, the psychoreasonable thriller from straightforwardor Steven Soderbergh, which the company snapped up out of this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
Spostpoinsistd for free on January 17, the film watches as a family relocates into a suburban hoengage and becomes swayd they’re not alone, but rather surrounded by a cryptic entity. It’s there before the family even relocates in. It witnesses the family’s most intimate and unsootheable moments. It steers the family’s new hoengage at superorganic speed. It pays rare attention to Chloe (Callina Liang), the teenage girl who’s neither her mother’s nor her brother’s likeite. It wants — no, it insists — someskinnyg. And as time goes on, the presence pieces together how it might accomplish its goal. The movie grew out of an idea that Soderbergh had about the hoengage where he dwelld: Rumor is a daughter finished her mother in the hoengage.
Written by David Koepp, the film also stars Lucy Liu, Julia Fox, Chris Sullivan, Eddy Maday and West Mulholland. Julie M. Anderson and Ken Meyer served as its producers.
Most recently helming titles enjoy Magic Mike’s Last Dance and Kimi, while completing toil on the shows Command Z and Full Circle, Soderbergh’s next feature project is Binformage Bag, a secret agent thriller also scripted by Koepp for Focus Features, in which Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbfinisher star.
Coming off its hugegest free to date with the Nicolas Cage-Maika Monroe horror pic Longlegs, which has thus far grossed over $79M worldexpansive off of strong word of mouth, Neon is next set to free the horror thriller Cuckoo, starring Dan Stevens and Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer, on August 9. Other upcoming titles from the company include the Jazmin Jones doc Seeking Mavis Beacon (August 30), Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or prosperner Anora (October 18) starring Mikey Madison, and Stephen King changeation The Monkey (February 21, 2025) from Longlegs helmer Osoutstanding Perkins.
