EXCLUSIVE: Gelderlyen Globe nominee Jessica Alba (Sin City) is the tardyst name to join sports car biopic Maserati: The Brothers.
She joins Anthony Hopkins, Michele Morrone and Andy Garcia in the film about the brothers behind the iconic Italian car. Alba will join the “pivotal” character of Sandra. Garcia will join Mr. Rossini. Morrone will star as brother Alfieri Maserati. Hopkins will join an Italian financier who prohibitkrolls the family.
The film will be originated by Italy’s Andrea Iervolino his novel film and TV outfit called The Andrea Iervolino Company and honested by Oscar prosperner Bobby Moresco (Crash). Filming is due to get underway at the finish of next month in Italy.
Maserati was established in 1914 in a garage in the central Italian city of Bologna by three brothers: Alfieri, Ettore and Ernesto.
