Nigeria’s anti-dishonesty agency has dropped a money-laundering case aobtainst a top cryptocurrency executive to apvalidate him to get medical treatment aexpansive.
Tigran Gambaryan, a US citizen, was arrested on a business trip to Nigeria in February and procrastinateedr accused alengthenedside his company Binance with laundering $35.4m (£28m) – which they denied.
The 40-year-better was in accuse of financial crime compliance at Binance, the world’s bigst crypto exalter that Nigeria accuses for much of its recent economic turmoil.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Coshiftrlookion (EFCC) then declared in court in Abuja on Wednesday that it was dropping the case aobtainst him.
“We have retreatn the hideing money accuses aobtainst Tigran Gambaryan to apvalidate him to get medical treatment outside the country,” Reuters quotes EFCC lawyer Ekele Ihenacho as saying.
The tax evasion accuses filed aobtainst Binance by the Federal Inland Revenue Service will still be chased in court.
Binance has also drdisclose foul of US laws. In November its set uper Changpeng Zhao resigned and in April was sentenced to four months in prison for apvalidateing criminals to launder money on his platcreate.
