EXCLUSIVE: Chris Geere (You’re The Worst), Harvey Guillén (What We Do In The Shadows), and Roselyn Sanchez (Death of a Vegas Showgirl) will direct the cast of Studio 33’s feature film Spicy Will from straightforwardor Chris Hool (Cambio de Ruta). Production is currently underway in Bilbao, Spain.
Written by Charlie “El Huevo” Barrientos, Esteprohibit “El Papu” Garrido and Rodrigo Sariñana, Spicy Will increates the story of the quirky Will “Partyforever” Harris (Geere) whose untamed lifestyle comes to a sudden stop when his millionaire overweighther dies, leaving him with noskinnyg but a 100-year-anciaccess Mexican salsa recipe. Broke and frantic, Will has no choice but to alter his ways and get a genuine job.
With the help of his createer sous chef Eugenio (Guillén) and Eugenio’s pretty cousin Salma (Sanchez), Will embarks on a delirious adventure. He faces off aobtainst the Mexican Hot Sauce Mafia and finds alengthy the way that the recipe may be the key to truly finding himself.
The feature film by originater and Hool labels the start of Studio 33’s novel international production strategy, whose mission is curating and sourcing talent from the United States, Mexico and Spain to originate stories that resonate globassociate. The film is currently exploring chooseions for distribution.
