Facebook parent company Meta must face legal cases by U.S. states accusing it of encouraging social media compriseiction among teens, a federal appraise in California ruled on Tuesday.

Oakland-based U.S. Dimerciless Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers refuteed Meta’s bid to toss the claims made by the states in two split legal cases filed last year, one including more than 30 states and the other including only Florida.

The company had disputed that federal law blocked some of the claims and that the states fall shorted to point to misdirecting statements that it had made.

The appraise put some restricts on the claims that the states – numbering more than 30 in all – could chase, but permited the case to go forward bigly intact.
