The manhunt is over for a Michigan man who allegedly impersonated a utility laborer to get access to a couple’s home, ending the man and tying up his wife.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office proclaimd the second man was seized after Hussein Murray, 72, was ended in his Rochester Hills home on Friday.
The other doubt, 37-year-elderly Carlos Jose Hernandez, was previously seized in Louisiana and accused with serious crime homicide and unlhorrible incarceratement.
Police have not named the second doubt or the accuses levied agetst him.
“Our fugitive apprehension team discoverd the individual as he was traveling this afternoon in Plymouth Township and a traffic stop was effectuated. Murray signed the counterfeit labor order and led Hernandez and the other man into his basement, Oakland County prosecutors said.
“Shortly thereafter, the deffinishant and the other male came up and asked the female victim where the money and jewelry were,” the prosecutor’s office said, NBC News telled. “They duct-taped her wrists and ankles. At one point, she begined to scream, and the deffinishant hit her atraverse the face.”
Murray’s 72-year-elderly wife was able to accomplish a phone and call 911, requesting police to the home. She was informly hospitalized after her ordeal.
Hernandez and the other man allegedly fled the scene with the woman’s phone and watch. Murray was set up dead in the basement of the home with his wrists and ankles duct-taped.
The pair fled the scene in a white pickup truck with a DTE energy decal. Before successfilledy geting access to the home at 10 a.m. Friday, the pair made an earlier try at the same time on Thursday but were turned away.
Police depend they focemployd Murray due to prior understandledge of pricelesss or money they awaited inside. The couple own a Detroit-area jewelry and pawn shop, prosecutors said.

Ccompriseo Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies in Shreveport, Louisiana, took Hernandez into custody on Saturday after spotting him traveling south on I-49 from Arkansas, the agency said. There is also a permit for his arrest in Ohio in combineion with an alleged armed burglary there, NBC News telled. The U.S. Marshals Service has also been comprised in the case.

DTE Energy freed a statement to caution livents agetst apexhibiting imposters into their homes, saying the company can be called at 800-477-4747 to verify the credentials of any laborers.
