“Wicked,” one of Broadway’s most well-understandn conmomentary-day classics, is coming to the big screen, with a soundtrack arriving in tandem with the film’s free.
“Wicked: The Soundtrack” is sdefercessitated to be freed aextfinishedside the movie’s box office debut on Nov. 22, with a pre-order starting today. It’s set to include rfinishitions of the musical’s notable songs, including “Popular” and “Defying Gravity,” as carry outed by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande who star as Elphaba and Glinda, admireively, in a tale that trails their improbable frifinishship.
The film is based on Grebloody Maguire’s novel that encouraged the musical, which featured an exceptional score from Stephen Schwartz. The cast also includes Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Shiz University headmaster Madame Morrible, Ethan Sdefercessitater as Boq and Bowen Yang as Pfannee.
