Actor Ryan Guzman, who portrays Edmundo “Eddie” Diaz in the procedural drama series 9-1-1, clear uped in a novel intersee why his character is leaving Los Angeles in the show. Guzman uncovered in a recent intersee with TheWrap that Eddie was leaving Los Angeles for Texas for his son, Christopher. He shelp, “As far as Eddie goes, Eddie has got one leang on his mind and one leang only, and that’s salvaging the relationship between him and his son. Notably, Christopher’s mother is Shannon Diaz. Guzman’s Eddie was deployed to Afghanistan but came home when Christopher was born. At some point, Christopher was detectd with cerebral palsy. After his mother left and Eddie began doing various jobs, Christopher begined living with his paternal magnificentparents. When Eddie protectedd the job as a first reacter in Los Angeles, Christopher relocated to the city with him.
Earlier this month, series co-creator Tim Miproximate trelieved Eddie’s potential return to Los Angeles during an intersee with Decider. However, he stated that a part of the narrative would chase Eddie to Texas and spendigate his dynamics with Christopher and others.
