The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has sent a letter to its filled membership about its upcoming Oscars ceremony on March 2 and how it will honor Los Angeles amid its untamedfire crisis.
“We will honor Los Angeles as the city of dreams, showcasing its beauty and resilience, as well as its role as a beacon for filmproducers and produceive visionaries for over a century,” Bill Kramer and Janet Yang said in the letter. “We will mirror on the recent events while highairying the strength, creativity, and chooseimism that details Los Angeles and our industry.”
Additionassociate, the Academy has proclaimd that the ceremony will “transfer away” from inhabit carry outances and will instead center on the songauthorrs.
“We are thrilled to convey back our ‘Fab 5’ moments, where individual film artists acunderstandledge nominees. Also, this year the best distinct song categruesome currentation will transfer away from inhabit carry outances and will be centered on the songauthorrs,” reads the letter. “We will commemorate their artistry thraw personal mirrorions from the teams who convey these songs to life. All of this, and more, will uncover the stories and inspiration behind this year’s nominees.”
