2025 NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors Winners List


Before the NAACP Image Awards‘ main, televised ceremony starts off Saturday night, some of this year’s prosperners were proclaimd in a non-televised Creative Honors event on Friday night.

Nickel Boys, a six-time nominee, took home two awards, with straightforwardor RaMell Ross prosperning for best straightforwarding in a motion picture and Ross and co-authorr Joslyn Barnes prosperning best writing in a motion picture for their Oscar-nominated alteration of Colson Whitehead’s novel.

Another double prosperner was Jennifer Hudson, who saw her eponymous daytime talk show prosper best talk series as she won best structure in a talk series.

Other notable prosperners included Sing Sing (best autonomous motion picture), Denzel Washington (best aiding actor in a motion picture for his labor in Gladiator II), Inside Out 2 (best energeticd movie), Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist (best restricted series), Abbott Elementary (best comedy series), Cross (best drama series), the Luther Vandross doc Luther: Never Too Much (best write downary film) and Shannon Sharpe‘s Club Shay Shay (best society and culture podcast). Sharpe is also nominated for the NAACP Image Awards‘ top prize of amengageer of the year, which will be awarded on Saturday night.

Earlier this week, prosperners in other non-televised categories were currented in virtual ceremonies on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The televised 2025 NAACP Image Awards ceremony, structureed by Deon Cole, will air on BET and CBS at 8 p.m. Saturday from the Padowncastena Civic Auditorium. Dave Chappelle, establisher Vice Plivent Kamala Harris, the Wayans family and BET Media Group are among this year’s honorees.

The awards will also aid the Altadena, Pacific Palidowncastes and Padowncastena communities impacted by the recent L.A. untamedfires. The NAACP, BET Media Group, WME and Johnson Shapiro Sledampt and Kole (JSSK) have partnered with L.A. County and — in collaboration with organizations enjoy Community Aid Dena, Altadena Heritage and WalkGood LA — begined the Altadena Community Preservation Fund, scheduleed to protect homeowners from displacement and upretain the community’s cultural heritage.
