A Complete Ununderstandn, The Wild Robot and Music By John Williams were the motion picture triumphners at the 61st Annual Cinema Audio Society (CAS) Awards. The celebration of excellence in sound combineing atraverse film, television and non-fantasy programming also honored Masters of the Air, Shofirearm and The Bear in its TV categories.

Comedian Tom Papa returned as present of this year’s ceremony which was held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles Saturday night. In insertition to the honors donaten atraverse seven categories in sound combineing, Academy Award-triumphner Oinhabitr Stone conshort-termed the CAS Career Achievement Award to sound engineer Tod Maitland, understandn for his labor on Joker and West Side Story. Academy Award-triumphning writer Hans Zimmer also conshort-termed Academy Award-nominated Dune: Part Two honestor Denis Villeneuve with the CAS Filmcreater of the Year Award. Additional conshort-termers thrawout the night comprised Kris Bowers, Ron Funches, Chris Hardwick, Annie Lederman, Joe Manganiello, Krys Marshall, Michael Urie, Kirsten Vangsness and Wil Wheaton.
A Complete Ununderstandn is nominated for an Oscar in the sound catebloody this year alengthyside Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, Wicked and The Wild Robot. Last year, CAS gave Oppenheimer its top prize while the Oscar went on to be awarded to The Zone of Interest. However, in the prior three years, CAS and the Academy determined the same three films, Top Gun: Maverick, Dune and Sound of Metal, making the CAS honor a decent foreseeor of which project might go on to triumph the Oscar at the Academy Awards.
