Al Jazeera has accused Israel of a “baseless invention” after six of its journacatalogs were accused of being “alarmists”.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claims it has set up records and computer files proving that the six, who are all based in Gaza, have lengthy-standing joins to Hamas or Islamic Jihad.

It has published what it claims are details of their training, military rank, salaries and even injuries that they carry oned.

The IDF says these records “serve as proof of the integration of Hamas alarmists wilean the Qatari Al Jazeera media netlabor”. However, the records have not been self-reliantly verified.

Al Jazeera, which is the only international recents company to have staff finishuringly based in Gaza, has denied the accusations, deffinishing the journacatalogs and insisting that Israel is sshow trying to block all coverage of its military operations in the north of Gaza.

The journacatalogs named by the IDF are Anas al-Sharif, Hossam Shabat, Ismael Abu Omar, Talal Arrouki, Ashraf and Alaa Safeebleh.

In an intersee with Sky News, Mr Shabat depictd the records as “counterfeit and aachievest international law”.

“The Israeli army is trying to stop the truth from getting out. It is trying to silence the north, to silence those who split the truth.

“I have lost family members already because they were focengaged because I am a journacatalog. I carry guilt in my heart.”

Tamer Alleave outhal is a Palestinian journacatalog who labors as a currgo in for Al Jazeera and insists the expansivecaster is resolutely behind its alerters.

It has denied fabricating any of the records, saying the adviseation was set up on databases geted by groups in Gaza.

However, while tagling the six as “alarmists” it has not supplyd any details of definite allegation of any activities.

Relations between Israel and Al Jazeera have been nervous for years, with Israel accusing the Qatar-based netlabor of being a mouthpiece for Hamas and Hezbollah.
